Made from responsibly sourced European oak, this solid wood bistro table brings natural warmth and a compact, easy presence to kitchens, dining corners, and cafe spaces. A solid oak top pairs with a stable cast iron base for a practical everyday table that still feels considered. Each piece is handcrafted, using oak chosen for its strength and natural character.

Materials & Craft

The solid oak top offers lasting strength and a surface that holds up to daily use. Each piece carries its own grain, knots, and tonal variation, so no two tops look quite the same. The oak is finished with a protective natural oil that deepens the grain while letting the wood breathe and mature over time. Beneath it sits a powder-coated cast iron base, a restrained contrast to the warmth of the wood.

Design & Function

Made for everyday use, the table balances simplicity with practicality. Its compact footprint suits kitchens, smaller dining areas, and tighter cafe layouts, and the form sits naturally within both contemporary and more traditional interiors.

The cast iron base is hardwearing and made for long-term use, standing up to the demands of a cafe setting as readily as the home. It gives a stable foundation, and adjustable feet help level the table on uneven floors while protecting the surface beneath.

Sizes & Options

Available in a range of sizes and two thickness options, 27mm and 40mm, to suit different spaces and styles. As a guide, 600mm tables suit two place settings, while 800mm tables comfortably seat up to four. Bespoke cutting options are also available, including custom sizes, edge profiling, and radius corners. For a more tailored approach, raw sanded tabletops can be supplied unfinished, ready to take your own finish, whether you're matching existing furniture or working toward a specific look.

Assembly

Assembly is straightforward. The tabletop arrives pre-drilled with all fixings included, and attaching the base takes around ten minutes.

Core Collection (Oiled finishes)

Caring for your domli piece helps protect its natural character and keeps it looking its best for years to come. Each piece is crafted from solid wood, a living material that will subtly change and mature over time. With a little love and care, it will continue to age gracefully.

To clean, use a mild solution of washing-up liquid and warm water, applied with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. If an antibacterial cleaner is required, we recommend Osmo Anti-Bac Wood Cleaner — gentle on wood yet effective against bacteria.

To maintain the finish, re-oil your furniture with Habiol about once a year. For light surface marks, the Wood Care Kit (Core Collection) — Habiol is ideal.
