Product care & maintenance
Product care & maintenance
Core Collection (Oiled finishes)
Caring for your domli piece helps protect its natural character and keeps it looking its best for years to come. Each piece is crafted from solid wood, a living material that will subtly change and mature over time. With a little love and care, it will continue to age gracefully.
To clean, use a mild solution of washing-up liquid and warm water, applied with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. If an antibacterial cleaner is required, we recommend Osmo Anti-Bac Wood Cleaner - gentle on wood yet effective against bacteria.
To maintain the finish, re-oil your furniture with Habiol about once a year. For light surface marks, the Wood Care Kit (Core Collection) - Habiol is ideal.
Please note: this guidance applies only to our oiled finishes. If you've selected a raw or sanded finish, your aftercare will depend on the product you decide to apply.
For full details, visit our Core Collection: Product Care & Maintenance page.

Unique
No two the same

Lasting
Built for daily life

Beautiful Desktop, very quick delivery and great customer service!
A
Looks great. Only minor issue the stickiness of the label which left a residue as it peeled off. I'm going to add little feet myself.
H
Great quality wood, excellent packaging and delivery..only downside is that it was not as smooth a finish as I was expecting and needs to be finished with a very fine sandpaper…especially on a couple of edges.
A
Seems good quality for a good price
J
Great customer service, unfortunately was a bit damaged both times. But with hardwood you can solve most of it with sandpaper and a bit of oil.
K

B
Great item, used it for two desks. ordered 2 120cm x 60cm. Came perfectly cut and oiled. edges are a bit sharp but that is to be expected.
M
Poorly sanded and finished two dents in edge probably caused by courier, re-sanded and refinished by myself
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
We’re sorry to hear that your desktop didn’t arrive in the condition you expected. While around 98% of our items are delivered correctly the first time, there is always a small margin for error, particularly with solid wood pieces in transit.
With our recent enhancements to fabrication, every surface is now carefully sanded and every edge smoothed prior to applying the finish, bringing greater consistency and comfort to the touch.
We did follow up by email shortly after your feedback to request a little more information, as we’re always keen to understand what’s happened and resolve any quality or transit-related issues promptly. We haven’t yet had a response, but we’d be very happy to look into this further if you’re able to come back to us.
Thank you for sharing your experience.
C
This desktop is so good! Its quite heavy but i used the Ikea SPÄND leg with storage, and the Ikea ALEX storage unit and its holding up great.
It felt abit rough at the beginning but with a tiny bit of sanding it feels great :)
I would definately buy from domli again

J
Great quality, very well packaged and delivered on time, custom cuts and finishes superb. Would definitely recommend desktops from Domli.
A
Excellent product at a reasonable price.
R
Beautiful desk tops, top notch. My only issue is that the staples used in the packaging go through and leave tiny staple marks in the edges of the desktop. Not a huge issue, but worth mentioning in case this can be rectified for future customers.
P
All good, as described, and at a great price.
H
Quick delivery, exactly as described
C
