Tables

Yes - we offer a cut-to-size service on most tabletops. Cuts start at £15 for the first cut, with each additional cut at £10. Some bespoke services such as tapered cuts or radius corners are priced differently. Get in touch for a quote, or view full details on our bespoke page.

Our tops can be paired with a range of legs and bases. Metal legs are our most popular choice, alongside spider legs, metal pedestals and cast-iron bases; wooden legs come in square and X styles. Dining tables are made to standard dining height, around 737-760mm; bistro and coffee tables sit at their own heights. You'll find the exact height for any table on its product page. If you already have a base, tops can be bought on their own - and legs and bases can be ordered separately, so you can build the table you want.

Most tables are delivered the next working day when ordered before 12pm Monday to Friday. Please note that the 1200 x 800 x 40mm, 1500 x 600 x 40mm, 1500 x 800 x 40mm and 1800 x 800 x 40mm sizes, along with all Premium Oak tops, require 2-3 working days and are delivered with a two-person service. Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on the items in your order. Additional surcharges may apply to some areas, including the Scottish Highlands and offshore islands.

Most tables come oiled and ready to use, with the grain sealed but allowed to breathe. The premium range is finished with Rubio Monocoat®, a specialist linseed-based oil that bonds into the timber rather than sitting on the surface, resistant to spills and stains and without the need for regular re-oiling. Extendable tables are finished in a hard-wearing lacquer instead, with no oiling needed. Tabletops bought on their own can be ordered oiled, ready to go, or sanded and unfinished if you'd prefer to oil them yourself.

Each top is solid wood throughout, in a range of species and tones: Oak and Prime Oak in a natural finish, Premium Oak in four colourways (Natural (Light Oak), Pure, Charcoal and Antique Bronze), and Walnut and Iroko in their own deeper tones.

On edges, every table has a softened top edge as standard, applied when the top is finished. Tabletops ordered sanded are therefore left square, ready to adapt if needed. Premium tables can be ordered with either a square or a Swiss edge, and rounded or chamfered edges are available as a bespoke service - just ask.

Yes - a small sample can help you compare tone and grain at home before committing. Each sample is cut from the same solid wood we use across our range and finished to the same specification. You'll find a sample on each table's product page, or you can browse them all on our samples page.
