Black Dining Chair

We love these chairs but oh dear one was very difficult to put together as most of the pre-drilled holes were either clogged up with residue paint or wood. Fortunately my husband was a master carpenter before he retired and was able to rectify the problems but this took him over two hours. Thank goodness the second chair went together much easier

Bit tricky to assemble due to shape, but instructions are clear. I managed to assemble on my own (female and no spring chicken). Very sturdy - quite heavy. Comfortable to sit on.

The finished product looks good and is comfortable. However, there is one thing that makes the construction a challenge for some people and impossible for others. The holes in the backrest that enable it to be secured to uprights are slightly too small. The bolt shanks will not push through the holes so it is impossible to screw the back rest into place. I drilled the holes out marginally larger using a standard size metric drill bit. That solved the problem. This only OK if you are a DIY person.

Love them

Despite my accidentally ordering two pairs instead of two chairs which was quickly rectified ! The chairs are great They are quite heavy and bought to match the bistro table for my granddaughters to use when they visit

I saw previous reviews about the difficulty of putting these together and assumed the feedback had been taken onboard. Sadly not.
Took an age and some brute force but the final product is very attractive, sturdy and comfortable chair.

Very comfy chair a littke tedious to put together

Very comfortable and table chairs
Very pleased

Really pleased with the chairs. Arrived quickly, excellent quality and look great!

These chairs are so attractive. Very comfortable too. They also look so good with the round oak table. Great value for money.

We had terrible problems trying to fit the screws into the backs of the chairs. We also had to call a friend to attach the base to the tabletop, the screws just wouldn’t turn, even our diy friend had problems so it wasn’t just us! Sadly my husband is now insisting on no more self assembly furniture.
